Wi-Fi enabled multi-colored LED light bulb

The LIFX is a Wi-Fi enabled multi-colored LED light bulb that you can control from your Smartphone, It lets you create lighting scenes and is very easy to set up and configure. Besides being larger than the Hue bulbs, the biggest difference between the two is in the wiring; the Hue bulbs use ZigBee wireless technology to communicate with a bridge that you connect to your Wi-Fi router, while the LIFX bulbs have Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n circuitry built right in and do not require a bridge.

By reports and review, we found the LIFX bulbs delivered more vibrant colors than the Hue bulbs, and they are much brighter. However, a bulb they are considerably more expensive, and the companion app needs work but again provide more feature and functionality.
